The current combination of factors from Brexit to COVID to Russia to world transport/container shortages plus the shortage of electonic components and the economic crisis cum boom all add up to a very wierd situation with regard to the second hand vehicle market that I love to frequent.
To cut a very long story short, the value of your used car or motorbike is currently INCREASING for the first time in the history of the world (as far as I know) cos you face a long wait for a new car or bike so folks are now snapping up good used vehicles. I know that the UK motorcycle dealers are now short of bikes to sell, new bikes are available in limited numbers but you must be quick if you want to specify model and colour cos they are all going VERY fast out of the showrooms. For the first time in memory dealers are actively hunting for used bikes and paying top dollar just to keep their showrooms looking good!
So should I sell my collection???? Er well no thanks, cos of course the other side of the dice says that I will have to pay more to replace them, so this is a bit pointless unless you have a car or bike that you don’t need or want anymore.
