My lovely garage now consists of 5 motorbikes plus I have another one in the UK. The 5 bikes I have in my garage consist of 3 Yamahas and 2 Hondas they are all great motorbikes with very different characteristics. I love riding them and looking after them. Of course I am only capable of the basics (oil, filters, cleaning and stuff) but recent Jap bikes demand very little work especially as of course I cover few kilometres with each bike.
When my good mate Barnes was here for a week recently I asked him to help me with some bits and pieces, below I have some pictures of my bikes and recent changes/mods as follows:
Yamaha FZ1 2009: He fitted a SC Project end can and wow the quality of the pipe and fittings is fantastic and swapping this pipe has reduced the dry weight of the bike by almost 10kg!!! Sounds great and the fuelling seems perfect, no error lights as he also removed the EXUP and the cables. Drives much better too.
Yamaha TMax 530DX 2019: Brian swapped the screen for the smaller, dark summer version and that looks great! Otherwise she is very young and low miles (only about 5k km since new) cos we were locked down almost as soon as I bought her!!
Honda VFR1200F 2013: Er well we managed to break the key in the seat lock so I have ordered another key which should arrive soon. Although this Honda is not super young she is in great condition and a joy to ride, a real mile eater and LOVES motorways. This bike has 170 horses and is a seriously fast cruiser, my ride home from France was a fantastic experience.
Yamaha R1 2016 just arrived: Cleaned and lubed the chain and polished the bike, she looks and smells fantastic! Brian rode her down from the UK and goodness she is a stunner for sure. Amazing condition, she looks new and the specification is amazing with Akra exhaust and magnesium wheels!!
Honda CB1000R 2018: I had swapped the air filter for BMC and fitted an end can too so she goes great! Easy to ride (like all Hondas) but can really move.
