Have a look at this guy’s web site: https://www.nicksanders.com/. Nick is perhaps the most prolific world traveller ever (on a bicycle and then motorbike) he has collaborated with Yamaha for many years and his travels with the R1 and then the SuperTenere 1200 and the Tenere 700 have been made into some fantastic books and films.
Nick is and remains a very down-to-earth guy despite his amazing achievements. He is a really lovely modest man and Martin at Alf England (www.alfengland.co.uk) has met him several times. Nick has the new Yamaha Tenere 700 and then will tour the UK Yamaha dealers to tell of his experiences. He is due to visit Coventry sometime in March so I will attend cos I really wanna meet him!!
The mechanics at Alf England stripped down his Super Tenere 1200 and with amazing results! The bike was in perfect condition, see the short video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tCHWsSRWMkc
I cannot wait to meet him!!! Now announced March 18th!!! And ps the large fellow pushing my MT10 above is Martin and NOT Nick haha.
Nick Sanders what can you say ? He is undoubtedly one of the nicest genuine guys you can meet. His world knowledge is unbelievable his mind is a genuine sat nav he can go anywhere in the world and know where he is.
I’ve met him numerous times a he always amazes me he can remember your name even if he’s not seen you in years he must have a photographic mind.
Nick is a real story teller he keeps his audience captivated with his fantastic stories about his travels and experiences. I dont know anyone more interesting than Nick a true modern day adventurer.
