Oh my goodness, last weekend thanks to Martin and the gang at the best motorcycle shop in the whole world as far as I know Alf England I met and chatted with THE MAN super modest Nick Sanders.
World traveller and multiple record holder Nick is currently touring a bunch of UK Yamaha dealers and showing his new film he took rushing around the world on his new Yamaha Tenere 700 (which was present in the shop). Yamaha gave Nick the first T7 to roll off the production line and he certainly uses it to the FULL extent, to say the least. This trip he used a new 360 camera and then edited the film of the trip with some brilliant Mac editing software. Mark and Steve at the shop set up some fantastic video and audio equipment so the numerous guests were treated to a fantastic show.
As far as I know Martin and the boys had issued about 120 tickets yet they had about 140 folks turn up and all were welcomed with drinks AND a fish or sausage and chips meal!!. Nick was wonderfully entertaining and answered many questions so a GREAT time was had by everybody, the evening finished at about 1130pm with a long round of applause and thanks. A few pics follow and big thanks to Nick and to Martin and his team for a fantastic evening!!

Well done, Si – a very interesting and stimulating initiative.
I look toward to receiving more and distributing them throughout my network, wherever appropriate.
Btw an ‘r’ has been inadvertently dropped from ‘surprises’.
Plus, it may be fruitful to give examples of the ‘real Italian experience’ IMHO.

Nick Sanders a living legend what a man one of the nicest person you can meet. He one of the most world travelled human being on the planet and a real day explorer. When he talks about his tours you’re just captivated by what he’s saying but he also has video back up to show his adventures which he films himself remarkable. How one man can spend all his life travelling around the world and filming it plus writing books also is absolutely remarkable what a man. He can really keep an audience on the edge of their seat with his winded stories he makes you just want to get on your bike and travel what an inspiration. He’s been do this for over 40 years on motorcycles. I’ve done what I think is long mileage in a day 400 to 560 but he regularly does a 1000 miles a day everyday when doing his record breaking attempts he’s a true hero of motorcycling
