For several years now I have been helping a friend (very part time) at a local car bodyshop based in Pontone, Ravello which is only about 6 kilometres up the road from Amalfi. The owner is called Luigi Cioffi and he sells cars as well as repairing and painting them and he has been plying his trade in his own premises for almost 50 years now, he is there 6 days a week and rarely less than 10 hours a day.
Now Luigi is 72 but he is as physically fit as the average 40 year old, perhaps fitter.
Well it seems that his amazing regime is coming towards an end as he has decided to gift his premises to his son and so has started to clear out all of his stuff, and believe me over these years he has collected alot of stuff.
Last week he borrowed an Iveco van which was massive and we filled this can with perhaps 40 car doors, 50 car bonnets and then an amazing selection of other car and van hardware.
This week we have taken his massive car jig apart and oh my goodness this thing is NOT small or light.
