As regular readers will know (thanks sis haha) I ended my 2023 holiday travels in November on a massive high visiting 8 European countries by Mercedes Vito van over a very cold and wet 2 week period with Barnes. I was VERY lucky that I had just fitted a set of Vredestein 4 season tyres to the Vito and they proved to be the best thing since sliced bread when I encountered rain, storms and then some snow along the way. I had also purchased 4 new pressure sensors which fit inside the van wheels and display the tyre pressure on the dashboard for great peace of mind. I covered the best part of 7,000 km in 2 weeks with the Vito on that trip and goodness she performed really well.
And so to our 2024 bookings and ideas and proposals….
April. Le Mans hotel is already booked for the 24 hour WEC race. Our wonderful 2023 hotel is not available for whatever reason (we loved the LePrince in the city centre). So I have booked the four star Hotel Mercure Le Mans Batignolles from the Thursday thro to Monday and it looks lovely, I dont wanna stay at the race track I totally wanna stay in the town centre so we can walk to the bars and eating houses that we know well.
Spain Estepona in the Costa del Sol for the month of June. Booked our lovely appartment 188 in the stunning Costa residence and now just booked the ferry from Genova over to Barcelona cos that 22 hour sailing that saves me about 1300 km of very boring motorway. Let the ferry take the strain, or something. Only 700 Euro return with cabin and food.
September Bol Dor for sure. We both love the city of Marseille so I intend to visit again thank you Maisons du Monde, our 2023 week was super.
