And so to my 2024 bookings and ideas and proposals….
April. Le Mans hotel is already booked for the 24 hour WEC race. Our wonderful 2023 hotel is not available for whatever reason (we loved the LePrince in the city centre). So I have booked the ibis Styles Le Mans South Station from the Thursday thro to Monday and it looks lovely, I dont wanna stay at the race track I totally wanna stay in the town centre so we can walk to the bars and eating houses that we know well.
May. We are planning a reunion in the UK of some mates from Lanchester Polytechnic (see previous post). We are in contact again after many many years. Fingers crossed and watch this space. I intend to drive over with my old Audi S4 to sell in the UK.
Spain Estepona in the Costa del Sol for the whole month of June. Booked our lovely appartment 188 in the stunning Costa residence and now just booked the ferry from Genova over to Barcelona cos that 22 hour sailing that saves me about 1300 km of very boring motorway. Let the ferry take the strain, or something. Only 700 Euro return with cabin and food.
September Bol Dor for sure, thanks Manfred!!. We both love the city of Marseille so I intend to visit again thank you Maisons du Monde, our 2023 week was super.
