My holiday plans for 2023 yessss…….

With fingers firmly crossed that the Russian army do not invade Western Europe and that COVID keeps its very nasty head down, I am busy planning my 2023, following our almost three year long stay- home hiatus. Not strictly true as we escaped in 2022 a bit. Watch this space!!!

Well, horses for courses and all that. I LOVE motorcycles and I currently have 4 bikes, I recently realised that my stunning R1 was er just a bit faster than me so I decided to trade her back to Martin before I got too carried away!. I have owned and loved several R1s including oneContinue reading “I cannot believe how much fun my little Honda CRF250 is!!”

Meeting Rocket Ron and Leon Haslam!!!!

Back in 2015 I was helping some mates at RunxFun to run a stand at Bike Expo in Roma and on the nearby Aprilia stand I spotted their two official WSB riders signing autographs for a massive queue of fans. A very Happy Brian rides up from Bergamo to sunny Bedrock on his new Honda VFR1200F…

We planned this trip two months before when Brian decided to purchase my 2012 Honda VFR, he had been without a bike for several years and finally decided that he wanted one for trips with mates. Of course he canContinue reading “A very Happy Brian rides up from Bergamo to sunny Bedrock on his new Honda VFR1200F…”

Amalfi to Bergamo by Vito to meet the Barnes, what a great trip!

Lets explore this concept together. This level is developed in our (subconcious) mind from a combination of factors mainly fromContinue reading “Comfort Zones and motorcycling”

My many years of experience with the suprising Yamaha TMax

I have come to know and to love my days and kilometers riding the Yamaha TMax. As a “real” motorcyclist, for many years I always thought that the TMax was a bit strange: generally a scooter is purchased for cheap commuting whereas motorbikes are generally for pleasure rides so where does a fast 500cc twinContinue reading “My many years of experience with the suprising Yamaha TMax”

Would you purchase a motorbike from this large fellow??

Back in the (very) old days when I was a student I was already a keen motorcyclist and the proud owner of a stunning red Honda CB750K6 which I had purchased semi new from a mate, trading in my lovely yellow and black (speedblock) Yamaha RD400. Goodness the RD400 was fast and would raise itsContinue reading “Would you purchase a motorbike from this large fellow??”
